Gala

Every January 25, Vigan City Fiesta is celebrated. It is observed on the feast day of St. Paul the Apostle's conversion. Vigan City's patron saint is St. Paul. Fiestas are important events because they combine and nourish culture, history, family bonds, and camaraderie, and introduce us to new people. We hope that the tradition of holding fiestas in honor of our patron saints will become something other than an urban legend in the future. Now, let's look at some of the activities during the fiesta.

Here is the Longganisa Street Dancing Competition.
A festival exhibiting the town's cultural and ecological legacy, as well as the unique and tasty longganisa products, with highlights including street dancing and the Culinaria Longganisa Cooking and Making Contest. It's entertaining to watch, but it's just the heat since it's so crowded. The Longganisa Festival was a beautiful experience.

Longganisa Showdown Competition
It's a great pleasure to watch it, but there are so many people that it's difficult to do so. There are a lot of people because it's late at night, making it difficult to find a good spot to watch. The only disadvantage is that they started late as it stated 7pm but it started at 8, but it's still worth it and fun to watch, especially with friends.

Dog Fun Show

It's also entertaining to watch because the dogs are adorable. They teach us responsibility, offer us unconditional love, and are always there for us when we need them.

Festivals are not only observed for religious or cultural reasons. People have far more to look forward to at festivals. They bring people together and create a sense of community. On these days people from all walks of life come together to celebrate life.
