As with the animals and birds who breathe our air, we should protect our own lives. For the sake of improving our quality of life, we should protect the environment. Otherwise, we would be willingly contributing to the destruction of our planet, which would be devastating for both humans and all other forms of life.   Growing trees aid in absorbing and storing carbon that would otherwise contribute to global warming.   Keeping the environment clean helps conserve endangered species, decreases pollution, and preserves the biosphere and the planet's natural resources.
